Dr. Nicki Tajalli owns and leads Uptown Dentistry. She has practiced comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry in Houston for more than two decades, and she personally plans and performs the care her patients receive.
Her focus is comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry: porcelain veneers, bonding, whitening and full smile makeovers planned around the face and the bite, alongside the crowns, aligners, gum therapy and preventive care that keep a smile healthy for decades.

When a treatment plan includes implant placement, bone grafting or a surgical extraction, Dr. Tajalli brings in Dr. Sid Ahmadi so patients can have that step done in the same familiar office instead of being sent across town. Dr. Ahmadi is not an owner or partner of Uptown Dentistry. He is an independent specialist who treats Dr. Tajalli's patients when a case calls for implant placement or oral surgery.

Are you accepting new patients in Uptown Houston?
Yes. Uptown Dentistry welcomes new patients of all ages from Uptown Houston, the Galleria, Tanglewood, River Oaks and the surrounding neighborhoods. Call 713-963-9191 or send an appointment request and we will follow up during office hours.
Where is your dental office located and is parking easy?
We are at 4900 Woodway Dr., Ste. 730, Houston, TX 77056, just off Loop 610 near the Galleria. The building offers complimentary covered parking, so you can park out of the Houston heat and take the elevator straight up.
What dental insurance do you accept?
We are in network with most PPO dental plans and file claims for you. For treatment beyond your annual maximum, we offer third-party financing through Cherry and CareCredit, plus major credit cards, so cost is never a surprise.
Do you offer cosmetic dentistry like veneers and whitening?
We do. Porcelain veneers, cosmetic bonding, Zoom whitening and full smile makeovers are planned digitally around your face and bite, and previewed before any treatment begins.
Can I straighten my teeth without metal braces?
Yes. We plan Invisalign and ClearCorrect clear aligner treatment from a digital scan, so you can see your projected result before you start and straighten discreetly at work or school.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Friday visits by appointment. Existing patients with a dental emergency should call 713-963-9191 for the fastest response.
